Mobi Driller is a drilling and construction contractor. Our own rigs, heavy equipment and a trained crew cover exploration, foundations, fencing, household water, earthworks and building across Cabo Delgado and the north of Mozambique.
ExplorationGemstone exploration
Grid drilling on alluvial ground to find out whether a gem-bearing gravel layer is present, where it starts, where it ends and where it is thickest. Samples are logged by depth, washed on our mobile plant and stones get a preliminary 60x microscope check. First answer on a plot within 2 to 3 weeks.
FoundationsBored piles
Bored cast-in-place piles: drilling, reinforcement cage and concrete. For houses, warehouses, site camps and perimeter walls, 300 to 600 mm and 3 to 12 m is usually enough; the rig reaches 1000 mm and 18 m. No impact and no vibration, so we can work next to existing buildings, on soft fill and on coastal sand.
FoundationsSolar, power line and mast foundations
Drilled footings for solar panel frames, power line and lighting poles, telecom masts and small and pedestrian bridges, culverts and retaining walls. The auger drills a clean hole to the right diameter and depth in one pass.
SecurityPerimeter fences
Post holes and fence installation around site camps, plant areas, yards and project sites, including gas, oil and mining projects in the north. The rigs drill a long line of post holes quickly and accurately, even on remote ground.
WaterHousehold wells and water storage
Local wells for household use and pits for water storage, very common across rural Africa where there is no mains supply. Sized and lined to suit the home, farm or camp.
BuildingConstruction
Houses, camps and project buildings, from foundations to finished structure. Ruslan has built houses and other projects in Mozambique, and in Angola he took part in the planning of construction projects as well as the drilling.
Site worksEarthworks
Excavation, site clearing and platforms, trenches for cables and pipes, and drainage, with our backhoe loaders and dump truck.
SpecialtyGround anchors for bridges and buildings
Anchors are Ruslan's professional specialty from years of heavy construction work. They are rarely needed in Cabo Delgado, but contractors anywhere in Mozambique planning bridges, retaining structures or large buildings can contact him directly. For anchors and deep drilling, Ruslan manages the project and organises the heavy rigs it requires.
