A ruby prospecting licence of 1,924 hectares, about 4 km from Montepuez, in the same ruby belt as the major operating mines of the district. Mobi Driller ran the field programme for a mining company: grid drilling on the alluvial terraces, exploration pits, sampling by depth interval and washing on our mobile plant, with our own field crew from start to finish.

Grid drilling and sampling programmes on alluvial ruby ground for licence holders in Cabo Delgado, starting from the lowlands and moving upslope where results are positive. Each hole is logged with GPS coordinates and every sample bag is labelled by depth.
